Οι υποψηφιότητες για την 6η σεζόν του Game of Thrones συνεχίζονται.
Το Visual Effects Society, το οποίο δίνει βραβεία για τα εξαιρετικά οπτικά εφέ, την καινοτομία στην ταινία, τα κινούμενα σχέδια, τις σειρές, τις διαφημίσεις και τα video games έχει δώσει την δυνατότητα στο Game of Thrones να διεκδικήσει 11 βραβεία, περισσότερα από κάθε άλλη τηλεοπτική εκπομπή ή ταινία.
Όπως και σε άλλα βραβεία, το Game of Thrones θα αντιμετωπίσει σκληρό ανταγωνισμό. Σε κάποιες κατηγορίες, το Game of Thrones θα αντιμετωπίσει ακόμη και τον εαυτό του.
