Ανακοινώθηκαν οι υποψηφιότητες για τα βραβεία Saturn και το Game of Thrones είναι υποψήφιο σε τέσσερις κατηγορίες.

Καλύτερη τηλεοπτική σειρά φαντασίας, Καλύτερος ηθοποιός TV (Kit Harington), Καλύτερη ηθοποιός TV (Lena Headey) και καλύτερος νέος ηθοποιός (Brenock O'Connor, γνωστός και ως Olly, και Maisie Williams, ως Arya).

Υπάρχει αρκετά έντονος ανταγωνισμός σε κάθε κατηγορία. Για την Καλύτερη τηλεοπτική σειρά φαντασίας, το Game of thrones θα έχει ανταγωνιστές σειρές όπως το The Shannara Chronicles, Magicians, Haven, Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell, Outlander και το Muppets.
