To Game of Thrones στρατολογεί τους Hold Steady για τη νέα μελωδία του Westeros

Η μπάντα θα αναλάβει το 'The Bear and the Maiden Fair' για την 3η σεζόν και οι Hold Steady οδεύουν προς το Westeros.

Η μπάντα από το Μπρούκλιν έχουν ηχογραφήσει ένα κομμάτι για το "Game of Thrones", Season 3, με τίτλο The Bear and the Maiden Fair, ένα τραγούδι που εμφανίζεται στα βιβλία του George RR Martin. Αυτό κάνει τη μπάντα τη δεύτερη από το Μπρούκλιν που συμβάλει στο soundtrack της σειράς.

«Όπως και με την National, επιλέξαμε μια από τις αγαπημένες μας μπάντες και ήταν ευχάριστα έκπληκτοι όταν συμφώνησαν να το κάνουν» είπαν οι παραγωγοί David Benioff και Dan Weiss σε συνέντευξη στο EW. «Αυτό είναι ένα από τα πιο δημοφιλή τραγούδια στο Westeros, αγαπημένο από ευγενείς και κοινούς θνητούς, τραγουδιέται σε ταβέρνες και γιορτές κ.λπ. Θέλαμε η απόδοση του να είναι κάπως ανήθικη και λίγο ατημέλητη – μεθυσμένοι μουσικοί να χοροπηδούν επάνω στο τραπέζι, ενώ το θορυβώδες πάρτι συνεχίζεται γύρω τους. Δεν υπήρχε κανείς καλύτερος από τους Hold Steady και το τραγούδι έχει κολλήσει στο μυαλό μας για τις τελευταίες τέσσερις εβδομάδες».
